Welcome Shawn Amon

We are pleased to announce that Shawn Amon will join The Shaw Group as Procurement Manager on Tuesday March 1, 2022, reporting directly to me. Shawn will be based out of the Lantz office and will be responsible for day-to-day procurement operations, this position will also lead improvement initiatives with a focus on procurement/receiving best practices.

Shawn brings over 20 years of procurement experience in various fields, as a procurement professional with experience ranging from team leadership, relationship building and contract negotiations. His strategic vision and desire for continued learning will make him a great addition to the Shaw team. Shawn most recently comes to us from Hercules SLR in various Supply Chain roles where he negotiated exclusivity agreements along with assisting in margin growth. He also developed, implemented, and measured an inventory reduction plan resulting in a $3 million reduction.
