Welcome Nimesha Kariyawasam

We are pleased to announce that Nimesha Kariyawasam joined us on Monday March 10, 2025, in the role of Assistant Controller for the Manufacturing group. Nimesha will be based out of the Lantz office, reporting directly to myself.

Nimesha joins The Shaw Group with over 7+ years of experience in financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting. Most recently and since 2021, Nimesha worked for Meta Materials in the role of Senior Financial Analyst. Prior to this role, he has held several progressive accounting roles since 2016. Nimesha completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at University of West London in the UK. He currently holds his CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants), in the UK, and is working towards his CPA designation.
