We are pleased to announce that Jake Coady will join The Shaw Group on January 29, in the role of Procurement Manager reporting directly to Chris Blanchard.
Jake is joining us with 10 years’ experience in Procurement related fields starting his career with PCL Constructors Canada in 2013, and most recently with Irving Shipbuilding as Senior Procurement specialist. Jake Successfully negotiated and executed commercial contracts totaling over $200 million CAD, demonstrating exceptional proficiency in securing favorable terms and conditions. He used strategic negotiation tactics to optimize value, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. In 2023 Jake achieved $16 million CAD in cost savings and understands the importance of building meaningful relationships with both internal and external customers.
