I am pleased to announce that Simon McLennan will take on the newly created role of Operations Manager, Rural Affordable Housing.
As the rural housing initiative at Shaw is evolving quickly with construction activity in several Municipalities, Simon will bring a steady hand providing oversight to a growing construction team. Simon’s focus will be on efficiency and lowering costs of construction in all areas including materials and logistics, the home-building process, and bringing the Shaw Manufacturing Way (SMW) to our sites. Simon will assemble a collaborative leadership team to tackle continuous improvement utilizing standardization of both product and process. Simon’s experience and knowledge in construction data and costing along with his comfort on the Real Estate side of Shaw has been beneficial to the Rural Affordable Housing team.
During Simon’s ten (10) years with The Shaw Group, he has held several financial leadership positions as Corporate Controller, Director Finance and Administration Clayton, VP of Finance for Shaw Real Estate and most recently Project Manager on the Rural Affordable Housing team.
