Organizational Announcement - Shaw Brick

Heidi Blair’s role has expanded to include broader responsibilities within financial management and customer service for the Brick division. Heidi will maintain her responsibilities and role as Divisional Controller, and she will work closely on the Brick division’s customer service and supply chain functions to lead us through further improvements to better service our customers. Heidi will also continue to support ERP process improvements across the manufacturing and finance functions and will divide her time between the Lantz office and the Dartmouth Retail Centre. AR will continue to report to Heidi.

We are pleased to welcome Eduardo Huesca to Shaw Brick, in the role of Supply Chain Engineer, reporting directly to Heidi. In his role as Supply Chain Engineer, Eduardo will be a key member of the Sales and Operations planning team, responsible for building and managing systems and processes to forecast activities associated with customers and products.

Eduardo joins The Shaw Group, after moving to Canada from Mexico City with his wife, only a few short months ago. In Mexico, Eduardo held roles such as Transport Analyst, Coordinator and Senior Line Haul Planner for large companies such as Mercado Libre and Coca-Cola. With an Industrial and Systems Engineering background, coupled with his experience, we are confident Eduardo will be an integral addition to the Brick team.

We are also pleased to announce the promotion of Josh Doucette to Assistant Controller Brick & Ven-Rez. Josh joined The Shaw Group in 2021, working as an Accountant for Ven-Rez, has worked as an ERP Specialist as part of the Business Intelligence team and most recently, Josh was in the role of Senior Accountant, supporting Brick and Ven-Rez. Josh will take on additional responsibilities in the finance function and will continue to support the Brick and Ven-Rez divisions.
